When you work with Seddon Digital, you are working directly with Hilary Chapman, not handing your business to a faceless agency or an overseas team. You get someone who wants to understand how your business actually works before she talks about websites or rankings, and who will tell you plainly what you do and do not need.
Hilary brings an unusual background to digital marketing. She is an environmental scientist by training, with an Executive MBA from Melbourne Business School, and she spent years managing environmental approvals on major infrastructure projects. That is where her rules-based approach comes from. Rather than following the usual SEO shortcuts, she goes back to Google's own Search Quality Rater Guidelines and Business Profile documentation and builds to what they actually require. Seddon Digital is certified by the eBusiness Institute in web design, SEO, and digital marketing, and by Digital Marketer in customer value optimisation and search marketing.
Hilary founded Seddon Digital in 2021 and works from Melbourne's inner west, where she is a proud member of the Seddon Village Traders Association. She lives, works, and shops locally, which is why so many clients ask first, "Are you local?", and are glad to hear the answer.
